Google's Internet Protocol Addresses

Most of us enjoy Google services. You can have access to their services from almost anywhere in the world. It is one of the largest companies that most internet users browse through. Many internet protocol addresses can be ascribed to the company by the public.

What is an Internet Protocol Address? An Internet Protocol Address is a number that identifies a device or devices on a network. Each networked gadget will have its number that is specifically it's own. They help with internet searches and in accessing Google's DNS or Domain Name System servers. Many websites use different servers to help with the many searches conducted through their portals. Google is no exception.

Google IP Addresses

You will realize that only a few addresses can be useful at different times. It is because Google releases its website's server network differently every time. It is the reason why at times, the addresses may work, and at other times the same address may fail to work. There are public internet protocol addresses listed by Google. Then, they have a list of the current version IP, Internet Protocol version 6, or IPv6. This IP also follows the internet flow. Again, it picks out the device on a network, according to its location to the nearest server.

In the older version IP address, the set of numbers is separated by period marks and a hyphen. For example, 216.58.192.0 - 216.58.223.255 In the latest version, the set of numbers are separated by colon marks and a hyphen. They also have a few small capped alphabetical letters in the mix, dominated by "f." For example, 2c0f:fb50:4000:0:0:0:0:0 - 2c0f:fb50:4fff:ffff:ffff:ffff:ffff:ffff
By any chance that any of the IP addresses gives you results that you like, it will be okay to preserve it for later reference. Google's IP addresses are not set in stone. The company is known to sell them and buy more of them. Everything depends on how the company decides to operate.

Google's Domain Name System (DNS) IP Addresses

These DNS IP addresses are two. The primary DNS address is 8.8.8.8, and the secondary DNS address is 8.8.4.4. They belong to Google Public Domain Name System. The company has allowed searches to come through these addresses from strategic points in the world where DNS servers are located.

Googlebot Internet Protocol Addresses

Some web crawlers incorporate Google's IP addresses, and when they appear in their domains, web administrators like taking note of these visits. The company has not published any addresses with the designated name. However, they have suggested ways of finding addresses ascribed to Googlebot. Even the ones you get from lookups keep changing. So, they cannot be specified as such.

Conclusion

Every time you look up a Google internet protocol address, you will not be assured that you will get through. They change as much as the company's plans change. They can be sold at a notice, and new ones can be bought to take their place. It goes for the company's crawlers too. The only addresses that remain pretty much the same are the Google Domain Name System IP addresses. They are two and have remained the same to date.
